    Phoretix 1D - module for gel analysis
    • import of uncompressed greyscale TIF files in 8 -16 bits
    • intensity calibration by means of greyscale wedge
    • fully automated lane detection with adjustment to the lane width and to the gel distortion
    • manual detection of the lanes and correction of the lane geometry
    • background subtraction according to different methods
    • automated and manual band detection
    • function "Gaussian approach" for the calculation of the volume distribution of non-specifically separated bands
    • molecular weight determination with one or more standards
    • Rf calibration
    • quantification at several levels
    • band matching (assignment of comparable bands) on the basis of the band position, the Rf and MW values or manual settings
    • markings and selectable print functions as well as GLP-conform report printouts (analysis proof)
    • export of the image and table data via clipboard, export of the protocols as RTF

    • storage of different analysis protocols for an automated evaluation of gel series

    Phoretix 1D - database module
    • hierarchical archiving and administrating of 1D experiments, gels and lanes in one or more data bases
    • efficient search functions according to different parameters (sample names, descriptions, molecular weights, quantity criteria...)
    • creation of reference libraries
    • comparison of the position of a band or its quantity characteristics; or the positions or quantity characteristics of an extract of bands or all bands in the lane according to definable criteria
    • different correlation coefficients for the analysis (Dice, Pearson, Jaccard)
    • setting of the comparison tolerance as percentage by the user
    • creation of dendrograms (Neighbour Joining, UPGMA, Single Linkage, Complete Linkage, Ward) based on the parameter-dependent comparison of freely definable lane groups against one another
    • search for model lanes or reference structures
    • freely selectable data subsets and combination of these subsets
